What's the difference between total and max supply?
Total supply is tokens created so far minus any burned; max supply is the hard cap that will ever exist (some tokens have no max supply, i.e. inflationary).
Why does a low circulating-to-max ratio matter?
It signals a large amount of future supply that could eventually enter circulation and affect price.
